According to the 24News HD TV channel, the 5G technology will be introduced in Pakistan after the success of its trial service.

Pakistan Telecommunications Authority Chairman Ameer Azeem Bajwa said that PTA always encourages new technology.

He assured that open bidding will be done for launching 5G technology in the Pakistan in April this year 2022.
